Frequently Asked Questions
Q.How does your dumpster rental service work?
A.Our dumpster rental process is simple. Choose the dumpster size that fits your project and schedule delivery. We’ll deliver the dumpster to your location, you load it during your rental period, and when you’re finished, just call or text us to request pickup. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll automatically retrieve the dumpster at the end of your scheduled rental period.
Dumpster deliveries are typically made between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. While exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather, site access, and landfill conditions, deliveries are scheduled for the selected day, and we’ll communicate with you if any adjustments are needed.
Q.How do I know what size dumpster rental I need?
A.Choosing the right dumpster size depends on the scope of your project and the type of materials you’re disposing of. Smaller projects or heavy materials are often best suited for a 10-yard dumpster, while larger cleanouts and renovations may need more space.
If your dumpster fills up, we can schedule a swap-out, where the full dumpster is picked up and replaced with an empty one. Swap-outs are billed as an additional dumpster rental.
If you’re unsure which size is right, we’re happy to talk through your options before delivery.

Q.How soon can I get a dumpster rental delivered?
A.In many cases, we can offer next-day or even same-day delivery, depending on availability and location. For best results, we recommend booking as early as possible — especially during busy seasons or for larger projects.
Q.How long can I keep my dumpster rental?
A.Our standard rental period for residential projects is up to 10 days, which is typically plenty of time for most home cleanouts and renovations. If your project takes longer, extended rental periods are available for an additional fee—just let us know your timeline when booking so we can plan accordingly. If we don’t hear from you, pickup will be scheduled at the end of the standard rental period.
Q.How much does a dumpster rental cost?
A.Dumpster rental pricing depends on several factors, including the size of the dumpster, rental length, location, and the type of materials being disposed of. We provide clear, upfront pricing so you know exactly what to expect before delivery. For the most accurate quote, contact us with details about your project or visit our dumpster size pages for general pricing information.
Q.What materials can I put in my dumpster rental?
A.Most household and construction debris is allowed, including wood, drywall, furniture, flooring, and general cleanup materials.
Prohibited items typically include hazardous waste, tires, batteries, paint, chemicals, TV's/monitors and appliances containing refrigerants. If you’re unsure about a specific item, please ask before loading.
For safety reasons, dumpsters must not be overfilled or overloaded. If a dumpster cannot be safely hauled due to excessive weight or improper loading, the customer will be responsible for removing material and any additional service charges that apply.
Q.What if I fill up my dumpster and need another one?
A.No problem. We can schedule a swap-out, where the full dumpster is removed and replaced with an empty one. Each swap-out is billed as a new dumpster rental, with pricing based on size, location, and disposal requirements.
Q.Do I need to be present when the dumpster is delivered?
A.No, as long as the placement location is clearly marked and accessible. We recommend being available by phone in case our driver has any questions during delivery.
Q.Do I need a permit for a dumpster rental?
A.If the dumpster is placed on private property (such as a driveway), a permit is usually not required. If it will be placed on a public street or right-of-way, local permits may be required. Permit requirements vary by city, so it’s best to check with your local municipality.
Q.What surfaces can you place the dumpster on?
A.Dumpsters are commonly placed on driveways, gravel areas, or other solid, level surfaces. To help protect asphalt or decorative concrete, we recommend placing plywood or boards under the dumpster.
Q.Any special requirements when placing a dumpster at my house?
A.Please make sure the placement area is clear of vehicles, low-hanging wires, tree branches, and other overhead obstacles. The area must be accessible so our delivery truck can safely drop off and pick up the dumpster.
We require a clear space of at least 15 feet long and 10 feet wide — roughly the size needed to park a pickup truck or SUV.
Q.What happens if I exceed the weight limit?
A.Each dumpster includes a weight limit based on its size and the type of materials being loaded. If the dumpster exceeds that limit, additional overage charges will apply.
All dumpsters are weighed at the disposal facility. If the allowed tonnage is exceeded, the overage fee will be automatically charged to the card on file.
Q.Who is responsible if the dumpster is damaged during the rental?
A.Normal wear from proper use is expected and not an issue. Customers are responsible for damage caused by misuse, including overloading, fire, unauthorized materials, or loading practices that result in physical damage to the dumpster.
Loading with equipment is permitted as long as it does not cause damage. This includes forcefully compacting materials, pushing or crushing debris against the walls or doors, or otherwise stressing the container beyond its intended use. Damage that requires repair or replacement may result in additional charges.

Q.Do you require a deposit?
A.Payment is required on or before delivery for all one-time dumpster rentals. Customers with an approved ongoing commercial service account may have different billing terms in place based on their service agreement.
Q.What sizes of dumpsters do you offer for rental?
A.We offer 10-yard, 20-yard, and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters. Each size is suited for different project types, from heavy material disposal to home cleanouts, renovations, and construction projects. The right size depends on the type and amount of debris involved — our team is happy to help you choose if you’re unsure.
Q.What areas do you service?
A.We proudly serve Licking County and surrounding Central Ohio communities, with primary service extending toward the Columbus metro area. Service outside our primary area may include additional delivery or hauling fees based on distance and disposal requirements.

Q.Can I move the dumpster after it’s delivered?

Q.What is an ongoing commercial service account?
A.An ongoing commercial service account is designed for businesses and contractors with recurring or long-term dumpster needs. If you have questions or think this may be a fit for your project, feel free to reach out and we’re happy to help.
